“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” — Nelson Mandela

Welcome to The Orange Zone, a lifeline for young people aged 16-25 who may be experiencing difficulties in their lives. We understand that life can be tough, and that traditional education systems don't work for everyone. That's why we will offer a comprehensive approach to care, designed to help young people navigate through the challenges they may be facing.

RED FLAG SYSTEM

The Red Flag System is a crucial safeguard for our youth and a way to spot issues before they escalate.

The Red Flag System will have two main functions, development support and suicide + self-harm prevention.

Anyone can report any worries they have about others and our system will warn us if there are signs of trouble, big or small. We will inform and involve our independent specialist advisory team and follow their guidance along with intervention and support from the NHS and their mental health experts. We will cooperate with the school/youth organisation, parents and other specialists to ensure a powerful support plan is put into action when needed.

The Red Flag System is important because it:

- Protects our youth from harm and helps them cope with challenges
- Identifies issues early and prevents them from worsening
- Provides tailored and effective support for each individual
- Promotes positive mental health and well-being
- Empowers our youth to thrive as productive members of society

-Strengthens the resilience and coping skills of our youth

-Fosters a culture of care and compassion among peers and adults

-Builds the capacity and confidence of our youth to seek help when needed

-Creates a safe and supportive environment for our youth to grow and learn

Crisis youth are typically:

At The Orange Zone, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. That's why we will offer therapy sessions with qualified professionals who can help young people explore and work through their emotions. We will also provide a range of fun and engaging hobbies, such as music, woodworking, fitness, martial arts, cookery, and more, which have been shown to have a positive impact on mental health and well-being.

Our recreational facilities, will include a games room, PS5 room, movie room, and gym. These will provide young people with opportunities to socialize and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. We understand the importance of having a space where young people can relax and be themselves, and we will work hard to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued.

Our chabura and learning groups will be designed to help young people gain valuable skills and knowledge that can benefit them in their personal and professional lives. Whether it's learning how to cook a healthy meal or gaining work experience through an internship, we are committed to helping young people reach their full potential.

In addition to these services, we will provide emergency accommodation for young people who may be homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We understand that crises can happen at any time, and we are here to provide a safe and stable place to stay while young people work on finding more permanent housing solutions.

At The Orange Zone, we believe that everyone deserves to feel valued and supported, no matter what challenges they may be facing. We are dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment where young people can feel safe and cared for. Join us today and let us help you navigate through life's challenges.
